Resumen

La historia de la humanidad está asociada a sus diversas formas de expresión y comunicación. El arte es una de estas manifestaciones, representa los elementos de la cognición simbólica. Diversas hipótesis han surgido para explicar el desarrollo del arte, considerando al proceso creativo como elemento fundamental integrante para su desarrollo. El objetivo del presente trabajo es presentar algunas investigaciones que buscan explicar la organización cerebral del proceso creativo y de su lateralización en el ser humano.

Abstract

The history of humanity is associated to its various forms of expression and communication. Art is one of this manifestations, it represents the elements of the symbolic cognition. Several hypotheses have emerged to explain art development, considering the creative process as a fundamental integral element for its evolution. The scope of this work is to present some investigations attempting to explain the cerebral organization of the creative process and its lateralization in the human being.
